My friend lent me her car Saturday night so that Waris and I could make the voyage to Long Island City to see Vanessa Beecroft’s new performance, VB64 at Deitch Studios. We nearly ended up in Hamptons and I made Waris let me pull over to ask for directions. He sulked on the curb while I sought help. Anyway, we made it. There was no photography allowed so I had to sneak these. Eight different security guards yelled at me. Text and photos by Rachel Chandler
