Rachel Uffner Gallery’s latest exhibition, Truck Baby, continues the gallery’s strong program of compelling group shows. The three person exhibit features Graham Collins, Samara Golden and David Wojnarowicz. The early photo series from the late 1970s by Wojnarowicz shows the artist wearing a mask of Arthur Rimbaud in various New York locations. The images are remarkably fresh viewed alongside Golden and Collins’ contemporary creations. Collins’ wall-mounted works add an interesting abstraction to the urban and dark content. On view through July 21st 2013 at Rachel Uffner, 47 Orchard Street, New York. Photo and text Juliana Balestin
