TJ Wilcox at Metro Pictures, New York
Artist T. J. Wilcox takes over the upstairs gallery of Metro Pictures in conjunction with his new exhibition opening September 19th at the Whitney Museum. Wilcox’s unique collages take the form of wheat pasted commercial street posters inside the gallery walls. The artist’s interest in myth, nostalgia and history merges wells with the repetitive format. Movie Posters is on view through October 12th 2013 at Metro Pictures, 519 West 24th Street, New York.
