Instants Chavires, a music venue conceived as a laboratory for improvised, experimental and noise music, sees two evenings of concerts around the new trio comprised of Xavier Charles, Jérôme Noetinger and Thomas Lehn – three musicians that champion electronic improvisation through acoustic means. Above all, their idea of “playing together” is at the forefront…to play for and with the other. Their idea of revisiting many modes of electronic improvisation means these concerts at Instants Chavires will be explosive, especially with Xavier’s electronic rock approach. In addition to the duo of Thomas Lehn and pianist Frédéric Blondy (Hubbub), Xavier will play for the first time with the Norwegian percussionist Morten J Olsen (Moha !, Ultralyd…) and Jérôme with Lionel Fernandez, Sister Iodine’s acid guitarist. These concerts will take place on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th March at Instants Chavirés, 7 rue Richard-Lenoir 93100 Montreuil.
