The third solo show of artist Martin Creed opened this week at Gavin Brown’s new extended gallery space. The exhibition features both a film and a site specific installation which covers the entire main gallery floor space with an inlay of various marble. The film, shot in 35 mm, is a single screen projection of a man achieving an erection. In this same room, a large black curtain opens and closes endlessly—a compliment to the penis rising and falling. Open until June 19th at Gavin Brown’s Enterprise, 620 Greenwich Street, New York.
