The Rob Pruitt Art Awards 2009

Rob Pruitt’s First Annual Art Awards were held Thursday night at the Guggenheim Museum. The event was conceived by Priutt as a performance based artwork, but also served as a benefit for the Guggenheim Museum, White Columns, and Studio in a School. The ceremony was hosted by the hysterical Delusional Downtown Divas with Glenn O’Brien as the announcer. Presenters included Cecily Brown, Francisco Costa, Jeffrey Deitch, James Franco, Knight Landesman, Kylie Minogue, Julianne Moore, Nancy Spector, Nate Lowman, Jane Rosenblum and Allison Gingeras among others.
