“The loss that shapes the image” group show at Babst Gallery, Los Angeles

Featuring works by Vanessa Conte, Gabriel Slavitt, and Jesse Howard, this exhibition explores themes of loss and transformation across different mediums. Conte’s series highlights strong female figures defying societal expectations. Slavitt’s emotive drawings use repetitive symbols to express emotional depth and subconscious landscapes. Howard’s hand-lettered signs offer a minimalist reflection on the passage of time.
