Franklyn Project is an anonymous collective from the New York Academy of Arts, multiple painters contribute to each painting. The Academy believes that “mastering [the classics] is critical to the development of an artist’s personal vision and, ultimately, to the creation of vital contemporary art. The Franklyn Project is united by Andy Warhol, the muse and subject of Portraits of Our Father, on view until December 31st at Bleeker Street Arts Club, 305 Bleecker St, New York. Photo Elise Gallant
