The Chateau Marmont Series by Wes Lang continues
…And A Thousand Miles Away (2011) is a work on paper with pencil and acrylic by artist Wes Lang, one of the many works to be featured in his forthcoming book of Chateau Marmont stationary drawings. In an homage to Martin Kippenberger’s famed series of works on hotel paper, Lang has taken up residence at the Los Angeles hotel where he will produce a new body of work.
