An allegory in dance, music, sculpture and noise, artist Nissa Nishikawa‘s Ammanazotha performance explores the dawn of consciousness and humanity’s emergence from the cave – after darkness, light. Spanning the ambiguous space between real-time and ritual, the audience is sensitized through shadow, pattern, sound and smoke.
