Performed by 9 dancers, 5 electric guitars and 5 amplifiers, “TAKEMEHOME” takes shape under a luminous zeppelin where silhouettes emerge and disappear. Dimitri Chamblas’s work examines the body and its representation in various concrete or imaginary contexts. His choreographic work springs from the perception of his immediate environment resulting in the creation of new dance forms and ways of transmitting his art.
On view on November 17 and 18 at 7:30PM, at NYU Skirball as part of Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels Festival.
