Take a peek into Jennette Laven’s limited edition book “DÉSIRES ABSTRAITS”
“DÉSIRES ABSTRAITS” is an exploration into one woman’s sexual psyche through the isolated and abstract depths of her mind. Flashes of strange erotic scenes begin to manifest. It is a viewing and acquiring of her subconscious arousal, dipped in crimson, an emboldened and violent female color the subject identifies with. She sinks in and lets it take her where she has kept it buried — in a place absent of need and want, where there is no room for others. She tastes the forbidden fruit and begins to fuse with this unknown self, becoming red.
