“Sun of Sound” an exhibition by Hedi Slimane at Almine Rech Gallery, Shanghai
Purple is pleased to present “Sun of Sound” a photography exhibition by acclaimed French multi-disciplinary artist, photographer, and fashion designer Hedi Slimane. This is his fifth solo exhibition of at Almine Rech since 2004 and his first exhibition in China. With a style balancing between edgy intensity and the elegance of classic black-and-white photography, Slimane focuses on capturing his subjects in their own intimate settings — night clubs, dive bars, and concert venues.
