Steve McCurry “From These Hands: A Journey Along the Coffee Trail” at the Venice Arsenale, Venice
This is the first exhibition in Venice for the Magnum photographer SteveMcCurry, organized by Lavazza. For this series McCurry focusses on the coffee trail, showcasing 62 photos taken in 12 different countries: Brazil, Burma, Colombia, Ethiopia, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Perù, Sri Lanka, Tanziania, Vietnam, and Yemen. The exhibition, designed by Fabio Novembre, is structured like a maze so that each viewer gets lost in the surrounding photographs shot by one of the most important documentary photographers in the world.
