[August 3 2013]
The new group exhibition organized by Ned Colclough at Nicelle Beauchene challenges movement, time, light and sound in abstract terms. In the space, painted depictions of instruments are displayed alongside gently moving mobiles. Betty Woodman’s ceramic work in the center of the gallery blends a contemporary aesthetic with classic forms. Spectrum Suite is on view through August 16th 2013 at Nicelle Beauchene, 327 Broome Street, New York. Photo and text Juliana Balestin
