Sophisticated Devices by Jenny Holzer at Sprüth Magers, London
Sprüth Magers London presents Sophisticated Devices, a solo show by
American artist Jenny Holzer. Re visiting some of Holzer’s older more
unknown works from 1980-89′ such as collaborations with New York
graffiti artists Lady Pink and A1 as well as granite benches, LED
works, painted signs, and cast plaques. Sophisticated Devices is a
survey of Holzer’s practice where she uses her mediums to explore and
tackle emotions and experience, politics and conflict through a
narrative of objects.
