With previous personalities such as Roman Polanski, Damien Hirst and Pedro Almodóvar, Fondazione Prada now invites writer and director Ava DuVernay to select eight films, originating from all over the world, that have shaped her vision as a filmmaker. As DuVernay states, “cinema is a window to the world. No matter who or where you are, you can enter a film and be transported.”
The “Soggettiva Ava DuVernay” are on view every Friday from May 6 to June 24 at the Fondazione Prada, Largo Isarco 2, Milan
