School of Life founder Alain de Botton will join model and businesswoman Lily Cole in a conversation to consider how the desire within each of us to give something back might just be a force for meaningful change. The Impossible social network founder Cole will discuss how a gift economy in which real human needs and desires – and not simply the demands of the marketplace – might just be possible after all. The talk takes place at 7pm on April 23rd at City Temple Conference Centre, Holborn Viaduct, EC1A 2DE, London. Get your tickets here.
