One view of Sabine Hornig’s solo exhibition Transparent Things. A reference to Vladimir Nabokov’s novel of the same name, the show addresses issues of memory and the substance of reality. The artist’s transparent sculptures are in a constant state of change depending on the position of the viewer. Images appear and disappear as one moves closer to the medium sized structures. On view through February 23rd 2013 at Tanya Bonakdar, 521 West 21st Street, New York. Photo and text Juliana Balestin
