After her show at the Purple Gallery in Paris almost 20 years ago, American artist and designer Susan Cianciolo returns to France with both new and old works, connecting several years of work and different areas of her practice. Included in the exhibition are eight outdoor sculptural pieces, four video works and twelve tapestries. For the occasion of the opening, the tapestries were transformed into garments when Cianciolo led a group of performers in meditation as they sat with the artworks wrapped around their shoulders, accompanied by the live music of Anenon and Brian William Rogers.
