Pilar Zeta’s “Mirror Gate II” a new installation at the Place du Louvre, Paris
Argentinian artist living in Mexico, Pilar Zeta’s Mirror Gate II places a monumental stone portal at the Louvre’s Egyptian entrance, echoing ancient materials and contemporary design. Using alabaster, granite, and breccia, the work creates a calm, symmetrical structure that invites visitors to slow down, look through, and consider connections between past and present.
