Comme des Garçons launches inaugural “People of the Year” project with SWITCH magazine
This is the first of the brand’s annual series in partnership with a different magazine each year. Celebrating eight individuals who have done inspiring work across diverse fields —Nobuyoshi Araki, Naomi Osaka, Kotobuki Shiriagari, Stormzy, Kazuyo Sejima, Shuntaro Tanikawa, Patti Smith and Ichiro Yamaguchi — the issue features pieces of clothing embellished with their contributions and words, as designed by Rei Kawakubo. The collection will be available at Comme des Garçons stores and Dover Street Markets globally.
