In conjunction with his current show “Chocolate Factory”, Monnaie de Paris will be holding weekly talks about artist Paul McCarthy that will seek to explore the vast territory opened up by his wide-reaching work. The conversations will be led by Donatien Grau on a weekly basis with leading figures from many different fields, and provide a prismatic image of the work while providing introductions to such diverse themes as Los Angeles art, Ancient numismatics, contemporary philosophy, and Italian Renaissance sculpture. All conversations will be broadcasted live on twitter. Tomorrow sees Grau in coversation with Emanuele Coccia, Associate professor at EHESS. Proceeding discussions will be with Tristan Garcia, Olivier Zahm, Sylvie Damiens, Michel Amandry, Bernard Blistène, Neville Rowley, Israel Rosenfield, and Philippe Artières.
