This exhibition is an intimate homage to the relationship between artist Tom Wesselmann and his muse, Monica Serra. It showcases works reflecting Wesselmann’s creative process and the pivotal role Monica played, beginning as his model in the early 1980s and evolving into his primary muse, assistant, and confidante. Their collaboration coincided with Wesselmann’s exploration of laser-cut metal pieces, marking a significant evolution in his work. The exhibition highlights the sacred nature of their partnership, revealing a space where creativity and intimacy intertwined.
