The Lower East Side gallery Ramiken Crucible presents the well-conceived and humorous visions of Lucas Blalock for their latest exhibition. The works in xyz inhabit a world between commerical photography, Roe Ethridge and painting. Every image offers something unexpected upon closer inspection. Blurring the lines of technology and media, Blalock works feel immediate and sophisticated. On view through December 23rd 2011 at the Ramiken Crucible Gallery, 389 Grand Street, New York.
