Lightness of being at City Hall Park, New York
Public Art Fund presents Lightness of Being in New York’s City Hall Park. The installation follows previous summer exhibitions in the space including Sol Lewitt and Common Ground. This year’s presenation of eleven artists includes Olaf Breuning, Ugo Rondinone and Franz West. The works on display resist the formal park structure by inserting playful colors, shapes and ideas into the passages of greenery and urban landscape. A special emphasis on scale and materials unites each artist and enhances the impression of wonder and unaffected beauty of the works. On view through December 13th 2013 at City Hall Park, New York.
