This exhibition highlights the reemergence of Leonor Fini, a 20th-century artist whose complex work has often been misunderstood. Known for her dreamlike, bold depictions of female power and eroticism, Fini’s art is now gaining widespread recognition, breaking auction records and entering major museums. Curated by Richard Overstreet, the exhibition celebrates her legacy through a series of shows, coinciding with the Centre Pompidou’s Surrealism exhibition. Fini’s enigmatic paintings, rich in symbolism and emotional depth, continue to captivate, reinforcing her significance within the Surrealist movement.
