Last weekend a group show “It Smells Like Girl” opened at Jeffrey Deitch Los Angeles, in collaboration with Company Gallery
The show reclaims the outdated label of hysteria, showing how what was once used to silence women can now be a tool for expression and power. Through painting, performance, and installation, it captures women pushing back against expectations, with work that’s raw, sensual, and unafraid of contradiction.
