New York’s Barbara Gladstone Gallery recently acquired the estate of
Downtown artist Keith Haring. This week, the gallery presented its first
solo show with the artist in their 21st Street exhibition
space. The show includes a selection of intimate drawings and texts by
the artist executed on notebook paper as well as three large format
works on canvas which were created in reaction to a real-time
performance of Bill T. Jones at The Kitchen in New York 1982. Keith Haring is on view until 1 July at the Gladstone Gallery, 530 West 21st, New York. Text and photo Juliana Balestin
