Legendary German photographer Juergen Teller, who has been contributing to Purple magazine since the mid-90s, presents a captivating collection of his work. In this thought-provoking book, Teller responds to the feedback he received for his controversial photographs in W magazine’s 2021 Best Performances issue.
Capturing the essence of 28 actors against the backdrop of Los Angeles, Teller’s lens showcases their raw beauty alongside cars, symbolizing the vibrant city he wanted to celebrate.
Amidst praise for his aversion to excess glamour, Teller also faced criticism, igniting a conversation about beauty and interpretation. “Notes About My Work” features Teller’s selected screenshots, playfully reminding us that beauty is subjective and a reflection of our choices.
Immerse yourself in Teller’s world, where art, fashion, and self-expression collide.
Published by Steidl, the book is now available worldwide.
