Juergen Teller and Alexander Skarsgård present their short film “Men” as part of Loop Barcelona, on view until November 21st
This short film, narrated by Teller himself, is centred upon a humourous tale recounted by Juergen’s new father-in-law of the realities of extreme cold temperatures experienced whilst constructing a power plant in Siberia during military service. Teller restages the story with the help of his friend and actor, Alexander Skarsgård. The warmth of their friendship is strongly contrasted with the cool detachment of Teller’s relationship with his father, epitomized by Juergen’s honest reflection upon a black and white photograph from the family album.
