As Chelsea prepares to reopen their galleries, the Lower East Side presents several new exhibitions including Joshua Neustein at Untitled. Neustein’s austerity of material and color are not simple formal devices but exercises in restraint and deconstruction of content. Born in 1940, the artist and his Postminimalism feel at home with younger generations of artists that exhibit with the gallery especially N. Dash. Boss is on view through December 16th 2012 at Untitled, 30 Orchard Street, New York. Photo and text Juliana Balestin
