On March 2nd, Lithuanian American filmmaker, poet and artist Jonas Mekas and co-chairs Maja Hoffmann and Stanley Buchthal will hold a benefit for Anthology Film Archives, one of the world’s largest and most important repositories of avant-garde film and a New York cultural and architectural landmark. Artworks by Ai Weiwei, Cindy Sherman, Tacita Dean, Christopher Wool, and many others will be sold during the auction organized by de Pury and Patti Smith will close the event with a live performance. The evening seeks to raise funds to build the much-awaited Heaven and Earth Library and Café. Buy your tickets here!
