We wonder aloud about art in the urban space. Why show art outside the gallery and museum? What is at stake when innovating alternate spaces for exhibition? Artist Alexis Dahan, art historian Ann Fensterstock and curator Manon Slome take on the history of public art in New York and explore art’s role in the evolving urban landscape.
The talk will take place at 7PM at Five Eleven Gallery located on 511 west 27th street, New York.
