The New York Public Library opens today to the public the comprehensive archive of Joan Didion and John Gregory Dunne, offering an intimate glimpse into the intertwined lives of these literary icons.

Spanning 336 boxes, the extensive collection holds letters, candid photographs, and drafts that capture the sharp precision of Didion’s journalism and the cinematic flair of their screenplays.
