Purple is pleased to present “FRESH,” an exhibition of new paintings by Tomoo Gokita at Blum & Poe, Los Angeles. His works have been characterised by their psychologically-charged subject matter of uncanny portraits and abstract figures that are at once both angelic and demonic. While he has been known for his greyscale painting, this exhibition is dedicated to his renewed engagement with color and pushing the bounds of amorphous forms.
On view now until Une 26 at Blum & Poe, Los Angeles
