Elad Lassry’s refined approach to photography transforms images into objects. Generic imagery takes on new meaning when combined with sculptural effects and restrained formats. For his current exhibition with 303 Gallery, Lassry offers viewers recontexualized photographs with framing devices that cover and break up the the existing ideas to create a new narrative. On view through October 26th 2013 at 303 Gallery, 507 West 24th Street, New York. Photo and text Juliana Balestin
