Ed Fornieles performance “New York New York Happy Happy” benefit for Rhizome at the New Museum, New York
Ed Fornieles’ New York New York Happy Happy (NY NY HP HP), is a semi-fictional benefit for Rhizome during which 150 guests adopted a heightened persona in an immersive performance. Presented in partnership with Performa at the New Museum, participants were contacted by the artist and given specific roles such as “E-Cig”, “Art Talk”, “Children Negative”, and “Selfie” with certain cues over the course of the evening.
