The Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen in Germany is hosting a landmark exhibition featuring Hilma af Klint and Wassily Kandinsky, showcasing about 120 of their abstract works. This is the first time their contributions to abstract art are being presented together, exploring their artistic parallels and divergent legacies. While Kandinsky’s works have long been celebrated in major museums worldwide, af Klint’s pieces remained hidden until decades after her death, gaining recognition only recently. This exhibition marks a significant historical event in the art world.
