In conjunction with the new show Daido Tokyo, the Fondation Cartier in Paris held the fifth edition of photographer Daido Moriyama’s participatory book creation workshop “Printing Show,” entitled the À la carte.
Forty-two years after its first creation in Tokyo, Moriyama’s one day only bookmaking workshop allowed participants to select 30 images among 60 chosen by the photographer himself to create their own unique book. Guests were given two screen-printed options for their cover, before being bound on site and signed by the photographer.
