Cyprien Gaillard opening April 20th at the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles
Following his solo exhibition at MoMA’s PS1, artist Cyprien Gaillard prepares for a new show at the Hammer Museum of Los Angeles. Gaillard will present recent bodies of work including a series of photographs inspired by his California travels. Gaillard’s work functions as a chronicle of decay. The artist uses remnants and urban symbols to examine ideas of disappearance and caution against the negligence that often accompanies progress in the modern world.
