Swiss visual artist Urs Fischer’s new digital sculptures CHAOS #1-#500 include objects sourced from the physical world, which are transformed into 3D digital models and paired together in a continuous loop of motion. Each sculpture consists of two objects that are unique and relative in scale to one another.
CHAOS #501, his latest work in progress, includes all 1,000 objects from #1–#500 which move independently, decoupled from their original pair.
In 2021, Fischer’s combined sales of “CHAOS #1-5” earned him over 400,000 USD through NFT marketplaces Fair Warning, Makers Place and Verso by Pace Gallery.
