Although Blank City has been out since 2009, Celine Danhier’s documentary about the no-wave underground cinema of late 70s New York, is now released in France for one week from December 11th in cinemas MK2 Beaubourg and Espace Saint Michel in Paris. Featured interviews include Jim Jarmusch, Richard Kern, John Waters, Debbie Harry, hip-hop legend Fab 5 Freddy, Thurston Moore, and more. With a soundtrack by Patti Smith, Television, Richard Hell & The Voidoids, James Chance and the Contortions, Bush Tetras and Sonic Youth. Watch the trailer here.
