Paul Kasmin’s Brancusi exhibition at the gallery’s 27th street exhibition space offers viewers an intimate experience with five of the artist’s bronze editioned sculptures situated on pedestals throughout the space. Brancusi’s work convey movement through a mastery of curve and reflection. The reductive forms and simplicity of content lend power to the artist’s subjects. Brancusi in New York 1913 – 2013 is on view at Paul Kasmin, 547 West 27th Street, New York. Photo and text Juliana Balestin
