Bjarne Melgaard takes over Luxembourg & Dayan’s fourth floor bathroom for the duration of their Grisaille exhibition. Melgaard’s tiny space features letters to the Antichrist, pills, empty bottles and duct tape. Much like themes from the exhibition he curated at Maccarone last Fall, Melgaard’s work reflects upon the experience of personal terror and violence falling somewhere between reality and fiction. On view through January 14th 2012 at Luxembourg & Dayan, 64 East 77th Street, New York. Photo and text Juliana Balestin
