Authority Figure by Monica Mirabile and Kinlaw Opens this Weekend, New York
AUTHORITY FIGURE is a massive 150 person choreography of obedient relationships opening this weekend, May 20th-22nd at The Knockdown Center. AUTHORITY FIGURE is directed by Monica Mirabile and Kinlaw.
The performance brings together choreography by Sigrid Lauren (Fluct), India Salvor Menuez, Juri Onuki, Colin Self, Richard Kennedy, and TaraJo Lewis; installations by Jen Monroe (Bad Taste), Ilana Savdie, Kathleen Dycaico, Jerome Bwire, Signe Pierce, Yulan Grant, and Michael Potvin (Nitemind Creative); music by Devonte Hynes (Blood Orange), Dan Deacon, Ian Drennan, SOPHIE, Eartheater, Travis Egedy (Pictureplane), Nick Koenig (Hot Sugar), and Caroline Polachek.
