Paul Kasmin’s 10th Avenue space presents the late Arman’s Cycles. Arman’s work blurs sculpture and painting as repurposed bicycle parts and paint brushes jut from the medium format canvases. As with other bodies of work, Arman aims to reach Abstraction through unconventional forms. The repetition of identical objects within a confined space creates new identities and hovers between chaos and order. Cycles is on view through April 6th 2013 at Paul Kasmin, 293 10th Avenue, New York. Photo and text Juliana Balestin
