“Arkadius” a retrospective exhibition at Central Museum of Textiles in Poland, on view until July 27th

Arkadius, a seminal figure in early 2000s London Fashion Week, is celebrated for his bold fusion of antiquity, Shakespearean themes, anti-capitalism, and queer culture. This exhibition juxtaposes his avant-garde designs with contemporary art and the museum’s textile collection, creating a syncretic and eclectic display. Arkadius’ fearless dialogue on sexuality, religion, and societal norms shines through, showcasing the powerful exploration of his dynamic and provocative career.
