The Japanese artist’s first major retrospective in her home country since 2002 brings together around 40 works spanning more than three decades. From her futuristic, cyborg-inspired photographs of the 1990s to immersive installations exploring Buddhism, consciousness, and the cosmos, the exhibition traces Mori’s evolving relationship between technology and spirituality. An interactive installation translates visitors’ brain activity into projected imagery, alongside sculptures inspired by ancient cultures and the natural world.
