Adel Abdessemed transforms recognized materials and imagery into charged artistic declarations. He creates a visual language by drawing from personal, historical, social, and political sources. Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf brings together works that revolve around themes of war, violence and spectatorship. The exhibit is on view at the David Zwirner Gallery until March 17th, New York.
